the latymer school

hi i'm in year 8 and have applied for the school and they sent me a letter saying that i have to do an english, maths and french test.

does anybody have any idea what kind of tests they'll be?
and what should i revise?

and how did you find the tests?
Won't they be basic, entry-level tests?

I doubt you will need to revise.

ok i thought they would be like writing a long story for english, a big paragraph in french and a really challenging maths exam.

I've got to take the entrace exams this saturday amd I'm freaking 'cause I really want to be accepted - could anyone tell me what the entrance exams are like?

How did everyone find the exam? I HATE non-verbal reasoning. I basically just ticked random boxes but hopefully they will take into account my predicted grades- otherwise, I'm dead!

I can't believe that we won't hear from them till next month! Why are they so slow? My friend took an exam at another school and they told her whether she'd been accepted the following week! All schools should be like that...
