What on earth are you talking about?!?!?(Original post by spikdboy)
Sorry, but I don't wanna listen to any more Christian bands. If a band decides to add the word "Christian" to their genre, it's because they suck and can't make it any other way.
Christian bands are Christian bands because they have a relationship with God, and have had their sins forgiven by Him. They don't just add "Christian" to get sales!!!!!! What "abysmal" Christian bands have you actually listened to? You are so narrow minded to lump them altogether when there's so much diversity. And to call people who like that music "gay" is so immature. -

Love God, hate God or deny God; you must all have one! If I knew how to create a poll I would... Suggestions and expositions much obliged... My favourite is probably, 'O Lord my GOd, When I in awesome wonder... (How Great thou art.)'
And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England's mountains green?
And was the holy Lamb of God
On England's pleasant pastures seen?
And did the Countenance Divine
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here
Among these dark Satanic mills?
Bring me my bow of burning gold!
Bring me my arrows of desire!
Bring me my spear! O clouds unfold!
Bring me my chariot of fire!
I will not cease from mental fight,
Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand
Till we have built Jerusalem
In England's green and pleasant land. -
Okay, I take back 'gay' and replace it with 'sucks the big one'. I've heard several of the top Christian bands. I'm sorry if your all in denile, but the vast majority of them only added Christian to their title cuz it would help their sales. Do you know how many other bands in the world are all Christian but would never sing about anything Christian in their music, let alone add the word Christian to their genre?

I absolutely cannot stand Jerusalem. It used to be our Middle School song and we had to sing it in assembly - urgh. I just can't stand the tune; I find it really dull and depressing.(Original post by Howard)

If we were to change the national anthem I'd prefer Land of Hope and Glory - at least its a bit more upbeat!
And my favourite Christian songs have to be Christmas carols - it wouldn't be Christmas without Away in a Manger and all that jazz.
and coming from someone who likes radiohead, I expected better from you!
