Problem is he is the 2nd equal most expensive as it is (only below Vidic), but my concern is Ancelotti's hatred of wingers plus the possibility that Malouda is actually good now?

It's what happened last year with Schwarzer. Everyone had him as backup goalie, since he was the best cheap one, and he ended up outperforming pretty much everyone.
