What to write with for IELTS Test?

I got my IELTS test tomorrow and was wondering what to take with me to the exam hall? Am i allowed to write with pen? Furthermore will i have time to tranfer my writting essays to an answer sheet?

You are not allowed to take anything in with you into the exam hall except for a clear water bottle (without labels) and your personal id. Pencils and everything else you'll get from the exam people.

You write your essay directly on the answer sheet. You don't even have any other sheets you could write it on.
Just don't bring your phone or anything, there's always a slight chance it could get stolen although it gets locked away.
