Re: Furniture in roomsno porn? that's a joke, i made a post on here asking whether we were allowed to look at certain things and all the responses were that you could do anything you wanted as long as its not illegal, we're 18 for heavens sake, it's what we do, i don't want to come across as some horny teen lol but its true, that's what we do. might have to get a usb modem thingy then

what would that be,
is this for ANY computer or ones in the actual university? are there different rules for accommodation? -

Obviously blocking porn on computers in the Octagon and around the Uni is good, since I don't wanna see anyone ******* in there. -

Last year, the uni i went to also had RESNET, they didnt really care about porn, despite it saying your not allowed. The only thing you can really get ********* for is torrenting.
I also remember from last year it said in the T&C's, that streaming video was prohibited (cant find it on the above link), so no Youtube or BBC iPlayer, despite it working and noone getting in trouble for it
. But seen as i cant find it on those T&C's, they must allow it?

Re: Furniture in roomsThe only thing they got onto people about when I was at Staffs campus was people running those SSH tunneling programs.
Everyone was going on porn, streaming video, plugging a wireless ethernet router into the network, all "prohibited" things.
Only real problem was Counter Strike Source, with pings of around 1 second

Re: Furniture in roomsWhen i went on open day they said they let people tunnel and then stop them for a while then let them again. Dont know why though. But i have a phone with wifi so if i just want to jump on facebook for a second a wireless to plug in would be handy.

Why does everyone think that Stafford has no girls?! Just because the campus is mainly male it doesn't mean the whole towns the same. It isn't some wierd country village full of inbreds because theres only one woman to have children! Search Stafford or Cannock into youtube you'll find plenty of women, even easy girls :O -

It's not Stafford that's the 'problem'; it's just the Uni. of course, it would be better if the Uni was another 20 mins walk closer to town.
and easy girls? probably not for me...(!) -

Re: Furniture in roomsI'm guessing there will be a fair few ON campus tbh. Am i right in theres not just the FCET faculty there? Theres business and sport? with the possibility of the Nursing students whenever they arent asleep or working? and tbh, Stafford college isnt to bad on the old eye candy.
