Re: £12.46 Whey protien 1kgHow are they the same price?(Original post by MikeOxLong)
there the same price.......
but then you have to plus postage on my protein..
anyway, i much prefer mp i have the isolate i just had to get H+B today as im going away and i wouldnt be able to get any other before.
Delivery? Bad example. I'd have to pay £3.40 to get into town to H+B and back home anyway. If you've no alternative, any's better than none, but the prices just don't compare.
EDIT: The whole point is to buy in bulk to save money. And MP's a better quality product. -
Re: £12.46 Whey protien 1kgSimple maths. You're looking at around £8 per kg. Ok, so you have to pay for shipping, but only for small quantities, spend enough (or use your reward points) and it's free. It still works out at about 50% cheaper.(Original post by MikeOxLong)
I was talking 1kg.......
As for isolate there isn't really much point unless you're a highly competitive athlete. The tiny reduction in carbs and fat isn't worth up to double the cost, you'd be better off saving the money and spending it on better food. -
Re: £12.46 Whey protien 1kgYou? Bad example...... but for people who live near/can drive to a H+B its cheaper for 1kg and just 1kg.(Original post by Brotherhood)

Re: £12.46 Whey protien 1kgWhat's the point of buying it in 1kg amounts when you can save 50% by buying it in bulk (and get a better product)?(Original post by MikeOxLong)

You don't make sense. -
Re: £12.46 Whey protien 1kgYou missed the point.... I never said its cheaper in bulk. Just for 1kg(Original post by ch0c0h01ic)

Re: £12.46 Whey protien 1kgBUT THERE IS N0 POINT IN BUYING ONLY ONE F***ING KILOGRAM OF WHEY BECAUSE THAT WILL NOT LAST VERY LONG AND YOU ARE MUCH CHEAPER BUYING IN BULK ANYWAY WHICH MAKES YOUR 'CHEAPER' ARGUMENT REDUNDANT.(Original post by MikeOxLong)
You missed the point.... I never said its cheaper in bulk. Just for 1kg -
Re: £12.46 Whey protien 1kg
Some people do just use 1kg at a time and so then it's cheaper than other places for a single kg. Yes it'll run out fast, but if you have issues with perhaps storing it (5kgs is a **** off load remember) then 1kg can be advantageous. But I agree with the sentiment that bulk is better.

i do too think bulk is better, i was just saying as i do sometimes buy in 1kg's -
Re: £12.46 Whey protien 1kgWhat would be the point? You're going to use that kilo and need more once you've finished. You're just wasting money. 5kg isn't a lot either, I can't see how anyone would have any issues storing it unless they were literally living in a closet.(Original post by ssmoose)
