Mine is 8:30 to 2:50 MTTF and 8:30 to 2:00 W with extra curricular activities until 3. In sixth form we have lessons until 3:50 on M or T though and some people don't finish until 3 W.

My school started at 8:40 and ended at 3:50.
Lessons started at 8:55.

and In the last year of Sixth Form if you have a free period at the beginning or end of the day you don't have to be in for that free.

I'm off to uni now anyway and I got good grades so I don't mind.


Secondary is supposed to have 25 hours of teaching a week ...

8:50 - 3:40 when I was in school
Because im year 6 I start at 7:50am and finish at 3:15pm
Way to make me feel depressed...

8:45 - 5:30

Don't even go there.
Varies my high school ran from 8:45-3:15
Then on a Friday it ran from 8:45- 2:25

My college is whenever I have classes
My high school in the United States (last two years of British Secondary School and then College) starts at 7:05 and ends at :2:15

My school was 8.00 - 4.30 and we would have almost the full day everyday
College was 9.00 - 4.30 and my lessons were squeezes into 3 days and we'd still have 2-3 hour gap between lessons on Friday
Starts at 8:30am for a 2-minute 'registration' period (i.e. sit and chat unless you have an assembly), before lessons start at 8:50. Each lesson is 59 minutes long, with a 20-minute break in between Periods 2 and 3, and a 50-minute lunch break in between Periods 4 and 5.

This of course means that lessons start and finish at ridiculous times, and that the question "When does this lesson end?" is acceptable and indeed common from everyone, teachers included; not just new Year 7s!
