Any college or school worth its salt uses something called isolation! Most my friends r in the LRC right now n we can't communicate with them! I'd assume any other college not doing that would b struck off!

Exactly, if sb has not taken it in the morning they must be kept in isolation untill the exam. If they are not they can well find out from friends in their school. By the way, the value of titrate will vary as we get different masses of H in the bottle. What metters is the answer for concentration of iodine. I got 0.0508, what did you guys get?

And what is the other country? Anyway, if sb gets good graded in their practical thenx to reading that, bless them, it is not going to affect me if sb in some other country gets those extra marks thenx to reading my post. What metters if what grade I get, other people marks are not my problem.

but it does. more people get more marks ergo boundaries get pushed up and our grades arent as high.

Is that why nobody's posted about AQA chemistry practical yet? How long do we have to wait? I want to find out just how wrong my answers have been!

I thought it was ok. I got 0.0499 for my concentration, which is pretty much what everybody else seems to have got, thank god. I'm not too worried about the titration parts of the exam, but the first couple of pages were a bit of a bitch. Not certain I'll have done those well. Fair bit of guess work involved. With regards people cheating, I find it difficult to believe that people with only a few hours to go before an exam would spend that time in the vain hope someone would mention something worthwhile. You have to show working anyway, so what does it matter?

think it went alrite actually thow i went wrong sumwhere with my calculations! i got 4 times the amout of iodine added, so mustnt have divided it by the right thing of well never mind!
our teachers sed it shud have been about 12g. 2 of them did it yesterday and got the same answer correct to 0.005, so i presume that its correct!
