Is competition for graduate entry going to rise spectacularly?

Is competition for graduate entry going to rise spectacularly within the next couple of years?

Does the thought of this in any way put you off from applying or make you feel more competitive? Will you attempt to apply for 5 year courses instead of 4 year courses?

I study psychology and I'm interested in applying for graduate entry. Anyone else in this position and worried about the the increase in competition?

Probably, and it does definitely make me contemplate wether going for a GEP program is for me...

Competition for grad entry schemes has always been significantly higher, I haven't heard about any reason why it would get worse - in theory it should get better as more places have started or will start creating these schemes.

Regardless of what happens, it make sense to apply for both 5- and 4-year courses, this is the current 'best practice' and I see no reason why it would change.
