Last time I tried 1 rep max I did 210, I was really amazed but during 3 weeks I've been training like **** and been using my mp3 player to pump me up even morde.

SO IT HAPPENED.
-Downloaded a new track
-didn't listen to it before
-went to the gym
-wanted to try my max, went on extreme mode
-put my headphones on
-waited for the drop
-****ING 230

THIS
IS
AMAZING

Good for you.

Personally I prefer these:

Please tell me it was with decent form.

No warm up, nothing. Form - decent. No equipment.
I don't like music with anything. Music at the gym annoys me but you can't get away from it. Even when driving, I wanna hear the engine and the outside world not the bloody stereo.

But good for you.

I don't know about the TSR crowd, but I simply do NOT understand the pound system. Someone says they lifted 100lbs it means **** all to me, I'm not gonna go on Google and convert it. KG or gtfo! lol

It's pretty easy to just remember the number 2.2.

Well I wasn't directly aiming at the OP, but most workout stuff on the internet is by Americans and I'm lost on the pound system. It's weird to relate it without constantly converting to kg. We understand Kg better here I guess.

If anyone runs at night like i do.. this'll make you RUN!
Three types of music really;

VA clubland cd/albums which is mainly a mix of well-known songs but made energetic and made into dance music.

or

Upbeat country music;

Lady Antebellum
Darius rucker
Rascal Flatts
Brad Paisley
Colbie Caillat
Zac Brown Band
Eli Young Band
(basically music which chills me out and takes my mind elsewhere!)

or

Gay pop music like mcfly, busted, nsync etc.

The drop on that is immense!

This came on whilst I was running, and soon as it dropped, my pace upped

And similar.

As much as I like Dream Theater and some of the other stuff posted here, can't see how half of it makes for pumping workout music :s-smilie:
http://soundcloud.com/chameo/chameo-hey Tuuuune, I just had this on replay for the duration of my run.
I'm a part-time runner and looking to download some good running mixes/playlists to put onto my MP3 player for when I go on my night runs. Need some fresh material to keep motivation up, as my half marathon gets closer and cloesr

Anyone know any good sites? Would rather not pay.

Thanks.

This one's really good and upbeat http://soundcloud.com/maxvangelipodcast/max-vangeli-podcast-ft-arty. Look around at music/dance podcasts on iTunes, they're all free
