    hey i was wondering if anyone has any LEDC and MEDC case studies on landslides. ive lost my notes.

    Just doing some hazards revision so here you go.....

    MEDC Scotland, Lochearnhead landslide (small scale)

    LEDC Kashmire Avalanche (large scale)

    Go the the BBC news website for information on these case studies where I got my data from!!!

    thanx!! i found some gd infor for a recent lanslide: La conchita, california which happened in jan 2005. but yeh am guna use nothern venzuela 1993.

    Would anyone recommend to incorporate case studies from one region/country to combat the multiple hazards in a region scenario? e.g. smog, earthquakes, tsunamis, tornadoes in LA...

    Aberfan, Wales- MEDC caused by dumping waste materials form coal burning process ruining the structural cohesion of the slope
