Video Tutorials! - Technical Discussion
Since I've got some spare time (well, I will once I finished my coursework today) I've come up with the idea of making some video tutorials of things like updating spyware scanners, doing windows updates and the likes. firstly has anyone got any ideas for what i could do, and secondly has anyone got some spare bandwidth where i could put the flash files up, they are ~5-15mb each.
also, what res do you reckon I should do the videos in?

EDIT: Sample Video -
The video tutorials is a good idea! I think you should do the videos that would fit the whole screen of WMP. Hope that will be big enough. That was just an example, as I'm sure you are not doing it in WMP. If you go into Quicktime player, go to movie, then click on double size. That size will be good too, but a bit wider.

I'm planning to make flash video files 800x600 so that most people can view them. but i might do wmv since everyone can play them.
the software i'm using also has its own very good codec, the problem is you have to install it. but onces its installed it works through mediaplayer. would that be agood idea? -
Use your software and then use something like fraps to record it frame by frame and then convert it to an AVI, or w/e.

Also, is a video tutorial really needed for simple tasks such as updating spyware scanners, and updating windows. If you really find it hard you could always click "help"..
