St George’s is the UK's only specialist health university. Based in south west London, we share a campus with one of London's busiest NHS hospitals, St George’s University Hospital.

The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018 ranked St George’s best for graduate prospects in the UK, with 93.6% of graduates moving straight into professional employment or further study.
St George’s has also been ranked the best in the world for the quality of citations for research influence in the Times Higher World University Rankings 2018.
All of the courses on offer at St George’s, University of London are focused on medical and health subjects. A limited number of spaces for each course are on offer, and on average the university looks for an entry requirement of AAA or equivalent.
Half of your course can be spent in a practical placement, and there is some degree of flexibility in courses: for instance graduates of the Biomedical Science degree can apply for entry into the third year of the MBBS5 course.
St George’s, University of London has a huge selection of facilities to ensure that you get the best practical experience during your studies. Skills labs offer students the chance to experiment with equipment found in a clinical setting which mimics a real hospital ward, while there are plenty of facilities on offer to help you let off some steam.
If you want to live on campus as part of your time at university, there are two options available to you: Horton Halls is run by St George’s and is a short distance away from the main campus, or you have the option of staying in an intercollegiate hall with other University of London students. However, these latter halls are spread across London so might be more suitable if you want to live in a different area of the city.
