The Manchester College is fast becoming a popular choice for anyone wanting to study higher education at an affordable, inclusive and exciting education institution.
Our higher education qualifications range from foundation degrees with a vocational focus to more traditional academic courses, including BA and BSc honours degrees in creative subjects.
We work closely with industry, developing work placement opportunities and using their expertise to inform curriculum, so that the qualification you leave us with will be relevant and of interest to potential employers.

Most of our higher education courses require between 60-180 UCAS points.
Clearing/Adjustment provisions
Clearing is a UCAS service that matches applicants with HE course vacancies that are available in August, at the end of the application cycle. The service is designed for applicants who have either not been offered a place or have declined a place, and are looking for another course.
Courses available through Clearing at The Manchester College are advertised in August. A full list of all Clearing courses is provided on the UCAS website from mid-August. Information about how to apply is also provided at that time.

Our Learning Resource Centres offer a fully stocked library, learning resources, IT facilities and areas for quite study on every campus

Sporting
You can become a member of the gyms and fitness centres at many of our locations, including Nicholls Campus, Openshaw Campus, Moston Campus, and Northenden Campus.
If your idea of physical exercise extends beyond the gentle stroll from the bus stop to lectures, then this is the city for you. Manchester's sporting highlights include hosting the European Champions League final, the Commonwealth Games and the Olympic Athletic Trials. The city is also home to two Premiership football teams; in the blue corner stands Manchester City and in the red, Manchester United. World-class sporting facilities here include SportsCity, the Aquatics Centre, the Velodrome and Old Trafford, home to Lancashire County Cricket Club.

At induction, you will be assigned a personal tutor who will work with you to help you settle into college life and to make the most of your time with us.
Your personal tutor will:

The Manchester College's accommodation officer is available to assist with any housing needs or problems you may have.
Home students

We can help international students to find a range of accommodation, including 'home stays' with local homeowners, shared student accommodation and private halls of residence.
