If you know where in the country you might want to go, but are unsure what universities can be found there, then viewing out university location categories might be a good plan!

All the universities and colleges are categorised in to Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and in the case of England, one of 4 regions.

The regions of England, outlined on the map to the right, are:

• Northern England in red
• The Midlands in blue
• Southern England in yellow
• London in green
