Behind the Hampstead Theatre is the Swiss Cottage Library if one wants a more general selection of books, DVDs, etc. As part of the University of London, Central Students also have use of their library services.

Students at Central are eligable for the 18+ Student Oyster Card which gives a discount to London travel. There are several bus routes that travel to or near Central; including the 113, 13, 187, 268, 82, C11, and the N13.

Part-time jobs

As hours are long at Central it can be difficult to find a flexible part-time job, however plenty of students do find work to help with London living costs. Wherever you live in London there will be plenty of retailers and other job opportunities.

Social

Bars, Pubs and clubs

There is one SU Bar at Central which plays hosts to regular SU events such as Barlesque and quiz nights. Outside of Central there is The Swiss pub and a Wetherspoons 5 minutes walk up the road at the Fichley Road O2 Centre. Being in London with Camden Town a few miles away, there are plenty of drinking establishments to choose from.
