Who are CCAD?
'Cleveland College of Art & Design is a further and higher education art and design college, based in the north east of England. The college draws its name from the former non-metropolitan county of Cleveland, operational from 1974 to 1996
The College has two campuses, one in Linthorpe, Middlesbrough which provides further education courses and one in Church Square, Hartlepool, which is a dedicated University Level Campus.
The College's current principal is Martin Raby.
Church Square Campus
The College has operated continuously in its present Hartlepool spot since 1938, despite a 1966 fire. It is located off Church Street (A178) at the junction of the A689 (Stockton Street) and A178, and near the railway station. The campus comprises of a number of iconic listed buildings which are situated in the innovations and skills quarter of Hartlepool.
University Level courses
At higher education level, the college also offers BA (Hons) and FdA degrees, covering such subjects as textiles, photography, entertainment design and fashion. All the college's Higher Education courses are validated by Arts University College at Bournemouth. Courses offered are:
