Troubleshooting and virus removal

There are a number of troubleshooting threads and articles hosted both on the forums and on the wiki. These guides are a great place to start if you're having trouble with your computer, so you might want to read here before you post your problem on the forums.

Buying advice

There is plenty of advice and information around to give you a helping hand in making that important decision of what exactly to buy, whether it be a ready-made laptop or components to build your own PC. Some information is hosted on the wiki, and some in threads on the forum - please feel free to start your own thread if you're looking for personal advice on some potential choices you have in mind.
