What is the Army?

Do I really need to answer this question? The British Army is, apparently, one of the most technologically advanced organisations in the world. But it's not just soldiers on the front line, the Army is made up of a large body of people working in a number of different sectors, requiring engineers, mechanics, technicians, scientists and more. The Army's first job is to defend the interests and people of the United Kingdom from a number of military threats. Its second responsibility is to defend those interests, and those of others under the guidance of NATO and the UN in international disputes.
