BNP Paribas is leading provider of banking and financial services in Europe, with a growing presence in the United States and a strong presence already established in Asia. Its banking network spread to over 85 countries with over 170,000 employees in total. It's status as a growing global brand is emphasised by its ranking of 8th safest bank and 7th most valuable banking network in the world (Feb 2009), and is currently ranked in the world's top five based on total assets. BNP Paribas is a leading company in the fields of Retail, Corporate and Investment Banking. he company promotes international development and balanced business strategies.

Aleast a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in any subject, although Maths, Economics, Sciences, Engineering and Computer Science are the most relevant. Suitable applicants are honest and trust worthy, good team players, committed, ambitious and focused, innovative and influential, with good analytical skills.

Future prospects and training at BNP Paribas.

During the training programme, graduates will undertake an induction period, before going to a 'bootcamp' style training camp for their chosen area. This is followed by a 2 day graduate event, and behavioural assessments. A mentoring scheme is in operation throughout these stages. BNP Paribas offers a number of continued training programmes once graduates have successfully completed their training programme. These involve internal workshops, classes, on-line computer based programs on premisis and external programs through vendor sponsored workshops, seminars, and conferences.
