Entry requirements and type of person suited for Baker & McKenzie.

Applicants must have a 2:1 degree in any discipline and 340 Ucas points, or equivalent. Suitable applicants will have good leadership skills, combined with an international mindset, intellect and initiative combined with commercial business acumen, as well as a committed and ambitious attitude towards their own career prospects.

Future prospects and training at Baker & McKenzie.

After an induction period, hands on training puts graduates straight into action, allowing graduates to gain direct experience whilst learning crucial business knowledge. During their time in each department graduates will be assigned a mentor who oversees your development in that area of law. The company's Graduate Recruitment and Development team also keeps a close working relationship with its graduates to ensure the best possible progress. Baker & McKenzie also offers graduates the opportunity to travel to its worldwide offices to gain experience of other legal systems and working conditions.
