  • Marketing - A 2:1 minimum degree in a marketing focussed discipline.
  • Project Management - A 2:1 degree minimum in any subject area.
  • Service Management - A 2:1 degree minimum in any subject area.
  • Software Developer - A 2:1 degree minimum in any subject area.
  • Strategy Consultant - A 2:1 minimum in a nmerate and analytical degree.
  • Technical Pre-Sales - A 2:1 degree minimum in any subject area.
  • Technical Sales - A 2:1 degree minimum in any subject area.

Suitable candidates will demonstrate adaptablity, drive, determination, good team working, communication, problem solving and analytical skills and passion for their chosen area. For most training programmes, graduates must be able to travel across the UK when required.

Future prospects and training at IBM.

Training begins with an induction programme, featuring simulated projects to relevant skills. Personal Development Training occurs at every stage alongside Technical workshops and traning schemes, equiping graduates with the relevant skills and knowledge in the business area they have applied to. Some programmes also run a buddy and mentoring scheme to further help graduates. IBM sponsors all graduates taking exams to gain relevant further qualifications in their area of expertise. Graduates in fields like IT can choose the focus of their careers from business related roles (line manager, team leader etc) or technical roles (such as distinguished engineer or IT architect). IBM provides graduates plenty of opportnity to define and redefine their own careers.
