What is Transport for London?

Tansport for London is a government funded organisation that runs public transport in London. That means buses, trams, riverboats, the London Underground and the Docklands Light Railway. With the population of London soaring to well over 7.5 million people, plus daily commuters and large numbers of tourists, TFL's job of ensuring these services run to the best of their capabalities is not an easy one, and its 23,000 employees in a number of sectors strive to make London's public transport the best it can be.
