The following is a list of important dates relating to UCAS or the university admissions process for 2007.
Normal process

| Application Process Begins

| 15 October 2006
| Closing date for people applying to Oxford/Cambridge and/or people applying for courses in medicine, dentistry and veterinary science or veterinary medicine.

| 15 January 2007
| Closing date for applications from UK and EU students to be guaranteed equal academic consideration.
|
| 31 March 2007
| Universities and Colleges should aim to have sent decisions on all applications received by 15 January.
|
| 9 May 2007
| Outstanding decisions from universities and colleges on applications received by 15 January are rejected by default.
|
| 30 June 2007
| Last date to apply before clearing.

Extra
|
| 14 March 2007
| Applicants can refer themselves through Extra for the first time.
|
| 7 July 2007
| Last date for applicants to refer themselves through Extra.
|
Clearing
|
| 17 August 2007
| Publication of GCE and VCE A and AS level results. Clearing begins.
|
| 22 August 2007
| Last date to respond to offers. Those outstanding are declined automatically.
|
| 20 September 2007
| Last date for receipt of applications for 2007 entry.
