London Metropolitan University was formed in 2002 when London Guildhall University and the University of North London merged. The University now has two main campuses, one in the City of London and the other in Islington on the Holloway Road. Both are very central in London and are well connected to the public transport system with the West End 15 minutes tube ride away. London Met has 30,000 students and it is one of the biggest single universities in the UK. The university has a very large number of international students with over 190 nationalities represented. Academic ReputationThe quality of higher education teaching at the LMU is assessed through the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), and in the most recent Institutional Audit to be published in 2011, the QAA has concluded that they have "broad confidence" (the highest level of commendation) in the university's management, the quality of its academic programmes and the academic standards of its awards.

Being polite, food from the canteen is not of the best quality. BanksTransportBuses run past the Holloway based camps regularly, such as the 43. There is also a tube station right outside the university - Holloway road - on the Piccadilly line. Careers servicePart-time jobsThere are many jobs available off campus, not so much on campus.
