TSR Wiki > University > Student Life > Travel and Getting Around > National Express Coachcard

The National Express Young Persons Coachcard is targeted at full time students aged 16-26 years old. It allows you to save up to 30% on fares on National Express Coach services.

National Express operate across the UK with a large fleet of coaches instantly recognisable through a white livery with red and blue branding. Services tend to operate between central bus or dedicated coach stations.

It costs £10 per annum or £25 for three years. It can be purchased from their website, click here for National Express Coachcard website.

Unfortunately, you cannot use the card for a further 30% discount on "Funfare" tickets (normally the cheapest travel option avaliable). This is similar to some restrictions on the Young Persons Railcard and Advance Tickets.
