Media Personal Statement

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writting to apply for the Bechalors program in Media at Yours University.

I have always been interested in media, wanted to improve my knowledge in this subject and know kinds of influence it does for society. When I am thinking about my future I imagine myself working with people in media workshop. My dream is to be a leader of media group releated with communicating. I know that I need a job which could give me something new every day and I could show my creativation, knowledge and credibility. I am keen on problem solving and using my knowledge in reality. Therefore, when I was reading about Media studies, I felt that it perfectly suits me.

I have started to play piano, when I was 6 years old. For 9 years I was learning at art school, but now I am working by myself. Playing piano is not just a technical work of fingers, if you want to be the best you need to give a piece of your heart. It excerecises several parts of body and minds. Allmost all the time both of hands are playing differently, so brains must tell each of hand what to do and already think about next move. Palying piano requires a great number of hours working to let your hands feel instrument, music and people ,with who you are working (teacher and parthner, if you are playing four hands), perfectly,but it teaches to be patient, reach goals with not giving up and think about coming steps.

Furthermore, I have passion for travelling. I believe it is very important for everyone to see the world and know different cultures. It help us to open our minds for new things, also we get experience, which improves our resourcefulness, for example, when I have returned home from 3 weeks travel in Italy I have noticed that I am more ready to embrace changes and face overcoming problems. In that case, I think that I am ready for studying abroad and it would be would be consummate for me.

This summer I was in Germany in international workcamp. Two weeks in Heidelberg group of young people from 15 countries was working at cemetaries of victims of World War I and II. „Work for peace“ is our main idea and call. Working together made me realize that boundaries of distance and language not exist when people have common aims. In this camp I forgot stereotypes of countries and gained political intelligence. As well as, this camp helped me to find new side of me. I felt that I love to be surrounded by different cultures people, it looks like all the world is in a one small group. So I assume that opportunity to meet students from all over the world, share interests and opinions, have an interesting discussions, extend my attainments would be something amazing.

In addition, I choose United Kingdom, because it is well-known for studies here. Students gain a lot of great expierence and high knowelage. Studies programs are perfectly created that students could imbibe everything very quicly and effectively. In thad case, I expect to be able to start a successful career after I graduate.

I guarantee that I am a suitable person to study Media. I have always been interested in other people thinking and I am trying to find compromises if it is needful. I absolutely like communicating, sharing information and minds. If I can I always do my bests to help for other people. I assume that hard teamwork is way to succsess. When I am trying to reach my aim very hard , I feel extremely great when I win.
