Sixth Form College Entrance Personal Statement

I have attended Heywood Community High School for 5 years. I am presently in year 11 and next year I intend to continue my studies at college

I am studying for my G.C.S.E examinations, which I shall be sitting in the summer of 2002. Details of the examinations I shall be entered for can be found on my Qualifications and credits page of this document

I am very reliable person and had a regular job helping my uncle run his café. . If I know a job needs doing I try to do it as well as I can and see it through to the end. I always persevere with something that I find difficult

I am good humoured and easy going. I enjoy new things and if others give me advice meant to help me accept it politely and without grumbling or arguing. I will always consider the advice and decide how to use it. I am energetic mentally and I like to make use of my time by doing something lively and interesting

I do not let people down if I agree to do something. I am friendly, I like to mix with other people and get on well with most people. I enjoy helping other people and I consider the needs of others rather than put myself and my own needs first. I enjoy working well with other on a particular task. I take part fully in group activities and always agree to do my part of the task in order to achieve a goal. I am honest with myself and have the ability to admit when I have done something wrong and to recognise both my strengths and weaknesses

I am well mannered. I take pride in the way I look. I like to be neat and tidy. I am very thorough My favourite subjects are P.E and I.C.T I find them interesting and enjoyable

One of my favourite English projects was called 'Of Mice And Men' in which we had to write about the life struggle of two men named George and Lenny. George was the smart one and Lenny was a bit slow but he was a large man. I was very pleased with my mark in this assignment. I have always played a full role in the life of school. My school is divided into halls and I have represented them in many activities.
