Ingredients
- Potatoes (1 large one or a few smaller ones)
- Tablespoon milk
- 1/2 tsp butter or margerine
- Few drops olive oil
- Small tin of baked beans (or half a normal-sized can)
Method
- Peel the potatoes and chop into small chunks
- Boil in water until soft, then drain
- Mash potatoes with the milk and butter
- Mix in the beans (try not to get too much sauce in) and mash a bit more
- Form the mixture into small balls and flatten into burger shapes
- Fry the Hash Browns until they are brown on both sides and serve hot
Comments
Good with ketchup, brown sauce, or a fried egg on top. Nice for breakfast, good hangover food too!
