Getting a part time job alongside your studies is likely to be vital for you to do all those things in your free time that you want to do, without having to rely on your parents' generosity.

But what sort of jobs can you get when you're at school/college?

Well, most school and college students will get pretty basic part time jobs, such as working in supermarkets or waitressing. Though don't be thrown off by this. These jobs will give you vital experience for the the future, not to mention proving your capacity to balance a job and your studies, and showing your ability to manage positions of responsibility. As you're likely to be under the age of minimum wage, you might not get great wages: but that's to be expected, and, after all, it's better than nothing when you're still in school or college.
