Sports Clubs

There are too many sports clubs to name individually, but you can almost guarantee that there will be a sports club for your sport here at Bangor, if not then you are always able to set one up. The best time to find out about sports clubs is during Freshers week at Serendipity (the freshers fair here at Bangor) if at serendipity you still haven't found the club for you then there is nothing stopping you from contacting a club via their website, talk to someone involved in that club and you'll be more than welcome to come to a taster session to find out if it is the club for you.

Non-University Sport

Bangor has a successful football club, who play in the Welsh Premiership. Bangor City F.C.'s ground is located near to the city center, however construction is taking place for a new stadium (which adheres to UEFA's regulations) near Normal Site. If you also would like to play football, but not for the university, or are unsuccessful in trials, there are many league teams around the area who accept players to train with them to try for a place in the squad.
