Deletion?

Why was this deleted when EVERY SINGLE university profile links to it in the breadcrumb at the top of the page?

It was a simple oversight. Why does it need discussing though? You have (or had last time I checked) the permissions to sort it out yourself. That's the whole point of a wiki, any errors, any improvements etc, especially obvious things like this, can be sorted by anyone who has access to the right permissions. When it's something as minor as this in terms of actual structure of the pages, but would have such a big and necessary impact, I can't see why it wasn't just done. Am I missing something? Only that I don't generally like completely undoing other people's work without any consultation - there might have been a reason for it's deletion so I thought I'd ask (but point out the consequences). Maybe we should have a standard policy of checking "What links here" before any page is deleted to avoid this happening in future? PQ 09:55, 24 July 2007 (BST)

When it's a simple as undeleting a single page, I doubt any consultation is needed. But, yeah, it might be wise to advise everyone to check 'what link's here' before deleting. Good suggestion! :D Roger Kirk 17:46, 24 July 2007 (BST)
