The power supply unit (PSU) is one of the most overlooked and undervalued PC components. Purchasing the cheapest PSU that you can find is not a sensible idea because it is the power supply which, unsurprisingly, provides power to all of the other components in your carefully constructed rig. A poor power supply greatly increases the chances of your entire rig going up in flames, something which you can very much regret afterwards.
A power supply may often be included in your case, and if it's from a reputable manufacturer, may well be adequate for your needs.
