Before uploading your personal statement, please ensure you have completed the application process (by holding an unconditional offer) and that you have no plans to apply again for the same or a similar course. This ensures you won't be helping any of your potential competitors during the clearing process, and also ensures that you won't have any problems with the UCAS plagiarism checker.
In addition,
- Please use the provided template below to add your personal statement to the library
- Please do not remove any text aside from where you replace the generic bullet points with your own details
- Remember to remove any personal details that could link this personal statement to any real individual
- Make sure the personal statement you are uploading is your own or that you have permission to upload it
Personal statements added to the wiki may be reviewed by one of our PS Helpers. This is to help others understand what they need to do to write an effective personal statement. While the reviews will be polite, some people may feel uncomfortable about this, so if you have any questions or problems please post in Ask an Assistant. |
