UCAS Track on results day
From The Student RoomTSR Wiki > University > Applying to University > Results Day > UCAS Track on results day If you are unsure about how to use UCAS Track, please see this page.
What happens to UCAS Track before results day?Track will be frozen from August 8th 2008 until the morning of results day, 14th August 2008. This means that applicants will not be able to change details of their application. Track records will also not be updated to show any changes. If you need to clarify any information or make any changes, you will need to contact UCAS. When will Track open again?UCAS have simply stated that track will be working from "mid morning". This will probably be around 8am, but may be from 10am or even later. There is no point staying up and checking Track at one minute past midnight. Track will not be updated that early. Although Track opens at this time, some applicants may find that their choices are not updated. This can happen for many reasons if your universities are slow communicating their decisions to UCAS. What will Track show me?Track can only show you if you have been accepted by your firm or insurance choice. Track will not show you your grades, and there is no way of telling if you have been accepted even though you have missed your grades. What words will Track use?On your choices page, the "decision" column will change. Since you have already chosen your firm and insurance, your Track choices page should reflect this.

But only do it if you have time and you're sure it won't make you nervous. Remember that since you will only know if you have been accepted there is no guarantee that you did well in your exams and met your offer. Also remember that Track can be slow updating for some people, and this does not necessarily mean you have done badly in your exams or that you will be rejected by your unis.
