    One month in...

So I’ve had my wonderful array of gadgets for a few weeks now and it’s been so great getting a real chance to use them in my everyday life. The Macbook Air has fitted into my life so easily I’m not sure how I coped without it before! I’ve been away for a bit and it was so great to not have to minimize the amount of clothes I pack in order to fit in my laptop. More clothes and a much lighter bag – WIN! The laptop isn’t just practical because of size and weight though, it really is amazing to use. The multi-touch trackpad is so simple to use and means things like scrolling, zooming and rotating can be done with ease. The little lights under the keyboard also mean if I’m using the laptop at night it looks really cool and makes it easier to see too. Personally I’ve downloaded Office for Mac to use as I just find it more intuitive and there are no compatibility problems with Office for PC, so when I go back to uni I’ll be able to go to the library and work on one of their computers without having to stress as to whether my document will come off my pendrive as just a jumble of letters and numbers! I can’t stress how much I’m actually in love with the Macbook Air; it is looks and practicality rolled into one.

I had never really thought I needed an iPad before, after all with a laptop and a smart phone I couldn’t imagine why I would need anything else. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how much use I’ve got out of it; whether it’s picking it up to quickly show a YouTube video to someone or getting a recipe while I’m cooking in the kitchen. Even though my phone has a large screen, browsing the internet casually on my iPad is just so much more enjoyable, plus in using the iPad more my phone battery is lasting much longer which is definitely an added bonus. I really enjoy photography and the retina display on the iPad is great for when I’m browsing flickr or for showing my photos to family members without having to get out a laptop.

My favourite thing about the Sandstrom speakers is their Bluetooth compatibility; it means I can be on my laptop in bed watching a movie or listening to music and having the sound playing through the speakers – no more struggling to hear the movie when having a film night with the girls! Currently I’ve got it on the pedestal but when I’m back at uni with less space it’s easy enough for me to put it on my desk. I’m a big music fan and being able to have my tunes blaring means that I look a little less mental when I’m dancing around my room singing at the top of my voice.

I can’t stop thinking just how lucky I am to have been given all of these amazing products – even getting just one would have improved my life massively, so having all three has been brilliant. I am so grateful to Currys PC World for giving me these as not only have they fitted into my lifestyle, they’ve also made my life so much easier and I know in the years to come I’m still going to be using them and feeling up to date and stylish. I loved them when I first got them, and through using them I’ve only come to love them even more.
