We love Glasgow

We love Glasgow

Scotland’s largest city will be the backdrop to your studies, giving you instant access to world-class architecture and attractions, a diverse culinary scene, vibrant nightlife and outstanding shopping.
National Geographic named Glasgow as one of its 'Best of the World' destinations, while Rough Guide readers have voted Glasgow the world’s friendliest city! Time Out also named Glasgow in the top ten best cities in the world.

Our campus sits right in the heart of the city and is a short walk from two mainline railway stations and the subway to help you get around the city and to visit the rest of the UK.

Whether you are living on or off campus we want you to have the best experience while studying at Strathclyde.

Facilities

We're transforming our campus, with investment set to reach £1 billion by 2025. We're creating a first-class working and learning environment for our students and staff.

Strathclyde Sport is a state-ofthe art gym and training facility, including a 25-metre swimming pool, fitness suite with capacity for over 180 people, sports halls, squash courts, dance studio and treatment rooms. Partnerships include Netball Scotland, with the sponsorship of the Strathclyde Sirens netball team, and Glasgow Warriors Rugby Union Club.

We offer a number of performance sport scholarships to enable talented student-athletes to achieve their degree, whilst simultaneously reaching their sporting potential.

After years of development, Strath Union has unveiled it's new location and stunning building. The new location is within the Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell Wing of the new Learning and Teaching building at 51 Richmond Street and the Union opened its doors on 10 September 2021 to welcome students for Freshers' week. What Students Say

“People make Glasgow” is the motto of the city and it’s totally right. People in Glasgow are extremely friendly and welcoming. It felt like my second home right away. Strathclyde was exactly the same.”

Athina Tatsi

Mhairi Patience

“It has been the best decision I have made. I have learned so much about myself. Just do it! You won’t regret it. Take the risk and just go.”
