Facilities

At the heart of our campus is the Grade I-listed Founder’s Building, a beautiful chateau-inspired building which is home to about 500 students, a chapel, picture gallery and the original Victorian Reading Room, a popular space for silent study. Opposite, is the modern Emily Wilding Davison Building, which houses the large library with plenty of study space to suit your needs, whether it’s working in silence or in small groups. There’s also a Careers and Enterprise Hub, Student Services Centre and a shop.

Academic facilities include: an observatory in the Physics department, a functioning MRI scanner for Psychology, mock law courts and television and recording studios in Media Arts.

In 2023 the university’s new Omnidrome Research and Innovation Centre opened, a hub for world-leading research, innovation, education and knowledge exchange for air, land, and water-based drones, robotics and autonomous vehicles.

Our London campus is based in the heart of Bloomsbury and includes study and teaching rooms and space to relax. All students are also able to use other University of London facilities, including Senate House Library.

All our halls are on campus and close to study spaces, academic buildings and social areas and if you’re a first year undergraduate or an international postgraduate student you’re guaranteed an offer of a room if you apply by our deadline.
