Don’t leave it too late!

If you haven’t applied for your student finance yet – what are you waiting for? Applying after the deadline means you might not get all your money in time for the start of your course.

Apply now at www.gov.uk/studentfinance and we’ll try to make an initial assessment of your application so you’ll have some money as close to the start of your course as possible.

If you’ve already started your application online, remember to log back into your student finance account and finish it as soon as you can.

You don’t have to wait until you’ve accepted an offer from a university or college to apply for student finance. You can apply using your preferred choice of course and change the details online later (if you need to).

If we ask you for evidence to support your application, make sure you send it to us as quickly as possible. Your application isn’t complete and can’t be assessed until we have all the information we need.

If you’re a continuing student and haven’t reapplied for your student finance yet, make sure you apply by 24 June so your money is in place for the start of term.
