Kaplan Holborn College has a variety of facilities on offer to help you on your course. Specialist law facilities are on site, and you can also find a modern library, IT facilities and other support to help you through your time at university.


The college is located near Woolwich Arsenal, south east London, and is close to excellent transport links which include the overground and DLR trains that connect the college to the rest of the city and beyond. The River Thames is your backdrop here, and landmarks such as the O2 Arena, and Greenwich Park is just a few minutes away from campus.

Library and study facilities

The library at Kaplan Holborn College is open seven days per week and has a selection of books on offer, with a large specialist law collection to browse through. There are plenty of spaces where you can study, either alone or as part of a group, and there are also subject librarians on hand to help you find the right materials for your course.


There is free wifi throughout campus so you can stay connected wherever you are. Open access computers are available in the library as well as photocopying and printing facilities. You'll also get your own email account so that you can stay in contact with teachers and your classmates.

Careers service

Kaplan Holborn College has a very active careers and employability team that are on hand to help guide you in your career choices. They arrange regular workshops and seminars, and often have guest speakers visit. They also organise Employability Week, a special week full of seminars, workshops and talks to help you decide what you'd like to do next. You also have the chance to study for the Employability Award, a Level 3 qualification that you can study alongside your chosen qualification.


There's a college café on site so you can grab a coffee or a snack in between lectures and classes. There's also a large chill out area so you can relax and socialise with friends during your down time. As the campus is based in London it has really convenient links to plenty of shops, restaurants and bars so you won't run out of everything you need.

Student Union

There's no dedicated Student Union for Kaplan Holborn College, however a number of student societies are organised by the college. Active societies include the Law Society, Student Council, Christian Fellowship and the Caribbean Integration Society. There are also plenty of sports clubs for you to join should you wish to participate in team sports.


There aren't any sporting facilities at Kaplan Holborn College, however there are plenty of sporting societies for you to join. If the college doesn't have a sporting team that you're interested in, you can work with the Sport Development Team to set up a new club.

Medical and welfare services

A student support team is on hand to help you at your time at university. Should you have any problems you can turn to a Student Ambassador who can help advise and guide you. As well as ambassadors there is a large multi-faith support network and two prayer rooms are on site so you can have spiritual time to yourself.
