EY School Leaver

Gabby's career formula
A Day in the Life of Josh

Josh is a second year Business Trainee at EY, based in London and working in the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) service line.

"Like most 18 year olds after A-levels I presumed that in order to work for a firm such as EY I would have to go to university, achieve a 1st / 2:1 in my degree and then join as a graduate…how wrong could I have been."

A Day in the Life of Drew

Drew knew he wanted to work in the financial sector since his work experience at an Investment Bank. He chose not to go to university, instead he worked towards a professional qualification while gaining on-the-job experience.

"I have now started my second year on the EY School Leaver Programme, working in Banking and Capital Markets which is a specialist business unit within the Financial Services (FS) Assurance Department. To be successful on the School Leaver Programme, I think it is important to show enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges."
