There is plenty of accommodation available for students at The University of Amsterdam

The University of Amsterdam accommodation

University of Amsterdam forum is a great place to ask questions about accommodation

The University of Amsterdam doesn't have any official accommodation on site, as with most Dutch universities, however there are plenty of accommodation options throughout the city.

International students are given a priority with partnerships the university has made with housing corporations. Approximately 1,700 rooms are on offer, usually meaning that all international students can find a place in halls.

Corporations the university partners with include De Key, DUWO, and Ymere, which are non-profit housing corporations. DUWO is the oldest student accommodation provider in the country.

As Amsterdam has excellent transport connections it may be suitable to find accommodation on the city's outskirts and either use the train, tram, or cycle to campus. More information on the city's neighbourhoods can be found on the university's website.
