Red blood cells, White blood cells, Platelets, Plasma.

Why are red blood cells adapted to carrying oxygen?
They have no nucleus and have a biconcave shape which increases surface area for more efficient uptake of oxygen.

Fight infections and defend the body against microorganisms.

They clot together at injury sites to prevent blood loss.

It's a liquid that transports nutrients, hormones, antibodies and waste.
