Apply to join the Welcome Squad!

Do you remember what it was like when you first joined The Student Room? Did you know where to go? Did you know which forums were most interesting and relevant to you?

As you'll remember, it can take a while to get your head around everything that's on a site as big as The Student Room.

That's why we have the Welcome Squad. The helpful TSR members that make up this exclusive team spend a little time each week popping into the Welcome Lounge and replying to new members there. Their short but helpful responses guide newcomers to the most useful areas of the site.
There's already a committed team of members doing a fantastic job at answering posts - but we'll soon have space for a select few more.

If you are interested in joining, just fill in the application form here to answer 3 simple questions. Should you get a place on the Welcome Squad, you will be invited into a private forum to meet the rest of the team as well as getting your own Welcome Squad title!
Here's what current members of the Welcome Squad have to say about it.

BurstingBubbles says:
"As well as making a great difference to the TSR community, it has also helped me find aspects of TSR that I didn't know about and I am amazed at all the fantastic sections are resources available to us.

"I get great satisfaction from helping people new to the forum, as I know what it is like to be a new user and to be unsure about the site. With some support, new users can then go on to make a great difference to the TSR community and go on to help many others."

greetings

"I didn't know there was a Welcome Lounge when I first signed up - I just immediately posted on an exam thread. Now, when I think about it, I would've loved to be welcomed like the Welcome Squad do."
