After the "snappening" several beloved heroes were lost. Though of course that's likely not forever! We know Spiderman has an upcoming movie- Spiderman Far From Home. So he obviously is resurrected and lives on to spidey another day. The same goes for Loki now that his solo series on the upcoming disney streaming service is confirmed.
But who is likely to 'die'?
To be specific Steve Rogers as Captain America. He's had a good run but Chris Evans has suggested his departure from the franchise. Back in Oct 2018 Evans tweeted the following:
Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.
That combined with his character being one of the founding figures without any confirmed future appearances.. The future doesn't look bright. This does however raise the question; Who will take the mantel of Captain America? Who will lift the shield?
Coming up to 11 years since Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) kicked off the MCU. It's been a wild ride and Tony Stark has changed a lot. From initially being rather self centered to suffering PTSD to now being ready to sacrifice everything for a chance of redemption. The arc feels very much complete. But what will happen to him? Will he die? Will he end up living somewhere in retirement? Will he fundamentally change to be another character?
What will be the fate of others?
