Recipe - paella - The Student Room

Ingredients

  • 200g of Chicken
  • Garlic Clove X2
  • Onion
  • Red Pepper
  • 110g Frozen Peas
  • 4 Chopped Tomatoes
  • Rice
  • Chorizo
  • Prawns
  • Mussels
  • 2 Pints of Chicken Stock
  • 1tsp Thyme
  • 1/4 Chilli Flakes
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chopped Parsley or Coriander

Method

  1. Add chicken to the frying pan and cook until crisp.
  2. Add 1 garlic, onion and red pepper until softened.
  3. Add thyme, chilli flakes, rice and stir.
  4. Add paprika, chicken stock and chorizo.
  5. Cook for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Add mussels. peas and chopped tomatoes.
  7. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  8. In a separate pan add 1 garlic and prawns - Fry for 2 minutes and then add to the paella.
  9. Add chopped parsley or coriander and serve.
