"people around us and close to us"

The Swedish people generally adopted that same approach and nobody criticised them. Pubs stayed open and their first lock down was a lot lighter than the UK. Swedish are a mixed bag [coalition] politically but people who i have met abroad from their seem more laid back than that even. Perhaps look at all the other people we see as well rather than just judging people around us.  That way they do not look like the only ones. If you walk near an end viewing point along the coast everyone still crams in to a small space even though there is loads of room either side and the views the same. The sales in Oxford St attracted loads on the tube and crowds outside breathing down each others neck. Bonfire night had people MC'ing the display still. Not to mention dine out for a tenner [all ages] Footballers men and women are hugging and kissing still after the ref awards a free kick. Rugby players men and women are still scrummaging [as if a different more sensible restart would matter] Doctors are only supplying 28 days prescriptions for routine repeat tablets that are impossible to OD on when 3 months worth would cut the public contact at the pharmacy and for staff. Fresh milk people wont get long life so go out every few days still. Old habits die hard. I am sanitising the keyboard before you read this.
