Open Days at Solent University

Visiting Solent University in Southampton is a great way to get a better understanding of the facilities on offer at the institution. You can get a better feel of the campus and meet with existing students and staff members to learn what studying at the university is really like.


When you book an open day at the university you can find out more about the course you want to study, meet academic and support staff and see the teaching facilities on offer. In addition to this you can also find out about the financial side of studying and see the halls of residence on offer.

    Our virtual open day will give you an insight into what a career in the maritime industry has to offer, and the training programmes to qualify as a ship's navigation (deck), engineer or electro-technical officer in the Merchant Navy and on superyachts.

    Major British shipping companies as well as recruitment and training firms will give you information about career opportunities. Our teaching staff are on-hand to talk about the academic side of training.
