Your education and university choices

To start, think about your current/previous studies and the course that you'd like to apply for at university. This will help you think about the most relevant things when collecting together your experiences.

Please remember that the minimum entry requirements for a course at a university are not optional. You will be rejected by the university except in certain mitigating circumstances if you don't meet these requirements. If you want to apply for a course that requires higher grades than you have been predicted, it is essential you contact the university before submitting your UCAS application to make sure that you will be considered.

Haven't completely decided where you want to apply? That's fine! Just give us an indication of the universities you may consider applying to as this will help us to help you develop a relevant statement.

TIP = A lot of unis have specific tips on their website to tell applicants exactly what they're looking for in successful statements. Use our list of university specific info to get you started but make sure you have a look at each university you're applying to and ensure that your statement meets all of their requirements.
