Veterinary School Maths English Science Other Requirements
Bristol A B BB Grade A in Mathematics if Mathematics or Physics not offered at grade A at A-level or AS-level. A minimum of five A grades would normally be expected. Graduate applicants must have GCSE Mathematics grade A and GCSE English Language grade B.
Cambridge C - CC It is encouraging if you have some A*’s at GCSE. Two single awards in GCSE Biology and Physics may be substituted for Double Award Science
Edinburgh - - - If Physics has not been studied to A level, a good pass at GCSE is required.
Glasgow - B - (This isn't incomplete! They just have very few GCSE requirements!)
Liverpool B B BB Minimum of seven GCSEs at grades AAABBBB or above, including Mathematics, English and Physics (either as a separate subject or as Dual Award Science) are required.
Nottingham B B AA Minimum of five grade As at GCSE to include chemistry, and biology (or double science), and at least an A in either mathematics or physics. Minimum of grade B in maths and English language. Grade A at AS level physics/biology/chemistry/maths/English can compensate for achieving grade B at GCSE.
Royal Veterinary College B B AA/AAB At least five A grades including Double Science award or Science & Additional Science at AA grades OR an A in Biology and A in chemistry if taken as separate GCSE, and at least grade B in English Language, Mathematics, and Physics (if taken as a separate GCSE)
Surrey B/5 B/5 AA/77 Minimum five subjects at grade A/7 or above to include Chemistry, Biology and Physics (or double science). Mathematics and English Language required at a minimum of grade B/5.
